I am a musician, producer, and music teacher based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Miami, FL, I began playing the drums at the age of 10. I also sing, play guitar, bass, and piano.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science Education from The University of Central Florida (2010) and a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of New Orleans (2013).

While living in New Orleans, I worked as a Graduate Assistant at the New Orleans Jazz Institute's Saturday Music School and taught Music Production at ReNew Cultural Arts Academy.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2014 where I began doing session work - performing, recording, and touring with various artists and bands.

In 2015, I began playing bass, drums, and vocals for Australian singer-songwriter, Vance Joy. This has included performances at festivals such as Coachella and British Summer Time Hyde Park; as well as the opening act for Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour.

When I’m not on tour I’m recording music at my home studio in LA. I produce for various artist as well as commercial/sync music for television and film. Last year I recorded the music for AT&T’s Holiday iPhone ad (2022). Recently I co-produced Vance Joy’s latest single “Rock It” (2023).

I also release music as a solo artist under my last name BOWER. Please visit www.bowerxo.com for information on my original music.
